LOUISIANA TECH UNIVERSITY STUDENT COMPUTER LAB ACCESS AND USE

You can access both Blackboard and ALEKS from any computer at any time. If you do not have computer access in your dorm or off campus, you will have to use the student computer labs on campus to access Blackboard and ALEKS.

Before you can access any of the on-campus labs, you must first obtain a LaTech userID and password. The LaTech UserId is also your login name for Blackboard as discussed in the Blackboard information. Your LaTech userID and password are not your ALEKS login name and password. Your ALEKS login name and password will be assigned to you by ALEKS Corporation when you complete your registration in ALEKS.

Getting Your LaTech UserID and Password:

a.       LaTech UserIDs for each student are available as soon as his/her registration is complete.

b.      If you don't know your LaTech UserID and password, go to the Computing Center at Wyly Tower 116  in the basement.  Make sure to bring a photo ID with you. UserIDs and passwords are not given out over the phone. They are only given in person to the student or faculty/staff member the photo ID belongs to.

c.       A userID and password will be given.  This information will allow you to log into any of the labs listed below.
